The Domination of Women

Women deserve to have a voice...

The rural women of Tamil Nadu are disadvantaged in all aspects of life. They are living in a world dominated by men, who have all decision making powers. They control every aspect of a woman’s life and consequently these ladies become powerless and completely dependent on men to provide for all of their needs.

 

They work day and night, walk kilometres for water, eat the leftovers of the family and take beatings or encounter ‘accidents’ when their families cannot afford to pay their life long dowry.
