Housing
For those who struggle to earn a living, housing conditions deteriorate, as they are unable to afford maintenance or improvement. Their huts are usually small, thatched with coconut and palm leaves, with baked brick and mud for walls. There is usually a kitchen, one to three rooms and a veranda where livestock can be kept.
Most houses do not have a toilet, water facilities or electricity.
