Tree Planting

SCAD believes in the benefits of trees for individuals, communities and for the future. Our tree-planting programme involves a wide range of trees including bio-fuels, fruit trees and drought tolerant species that are indigenous to India. This will create bio-diversity in the area and will also help farmers and families with a healthy diet but also an additional avenue of income.

SCAD KVK have a nursery which provides good quality saplings to training participants, who are given the awareness and skills to make these trees grow into a fruitful business.
