Vocational Training
SCAD gives vocational skills training to the rural villages to help introduce new and alternative ways of earning a living to the communities. This gives those who previously did not work a purpose in life and self-confidence, which grows within someone that learns a new skill.
Training in pottery, tailoring, fast food production, and outboard engine mechanics are just a few of the initiatives which have helped to bring meaning back to people’s lives.
We also provide the relevant marketing and entrepreneurial skills, machinery and networks required to make sure that these rural people have access to the facilities and markets that they need to make their business a success.
