Vision & Mission

The vision of SCAD has always been to ‘reach the unreached’ and with every year that passes, it grows from strength to strength.

Our mission at SCAD is to empower the downtrodden and under privileged rural communities by uniting them and making them architects of their own development.

This can only be achieved by encouraging them to look at the root causes of their problems, and take a holistic approach to development.

Once we find a model of development that works, we tell the Government about it so that many more people can benefit from the work of SCAD, not just in the state of Tamil Nadu, but also across India or other continents.
